This is an original leaf (page) from the Holy Bible, printed by Robert Barker. At London England in 1589. Octavo size Black Letter text in double columns

Attractive edition of the influential Geneva translation so widely read in England. The translation was the work of reformers who had fled to Geneva to escape persecution in England during the reign of Queen Mary (Bloody Mary), and was highly influential for a hundred years, the Textus Receptus for the Puritan England. In competition with the Bishops' Bible and later the Authorized Edition and King James Bible in 1611.
